This is the first pilot project for "Light Storage and Charging" energy storage in the expressway service area in Guangdong Province, which will effectively solve the problem of charging and energy replenishment.

The integrated demonstration project of photovoltaic power generation, energy storage batteries, and intelligent charging piles in the Yuanshan Service Area of Huida Expressway integrates multiple technologies, including photovoltaic power generation, intelligent charging system, and energy storage system. The photovoltaic system is the power generation end, the intelligent charging system is the power consumption end, and the energy storage system is the bridge between the two. The three complement each other and are the advanced mode of new green power consumption at present.
During the operation of the project, it can alleviate the power supply pressure of the power grid system. The built photovoltaic power station has no environmental and noise pollution during the power generation process, realizing the utilization of clean energy, improving the reliability of power supply, and effectively solving the problem of charging and supplementing new energy vehicles for citizens.
A super fast charging station has been built in the east and west areas of the Huida Expressway Yuanshan Service Area, with two sets of charging piles installed in each side of the service area, each with a total power of 480 kilowatts. Each charging pile system includes one liquid cooled supercharging head and five fast charging heads.
The power station integrates solar power generation, energy storage, and charging facilities. Its design concept is to utilize idle space and resources in the service area, collect electricity through efficient solar panels, store it in the energy storage system, and finally provide it to new energy vehicles in the service area through fast charging facilities.
This project not only fully utilizes the spatial resources of the service area, but also achieves the clean and renewable characteristics of new energy, which has good environmental, social, and economic benefits.
The implementation of the integrated low-carbon demonstration project of "light storage and charging" has effectively reduced carbon emissions in the service area, improved energy utilization efficiency, and provided a new direction for the sustainable development of the service area.
